Spotlight on Ruby

We contacted Amanda in December 2023. Our fox-coloured lab, Ruby, had serious behavioural issues including growling and nipping. We set up a camera and caught aggressive footage aimed predominantly, with grave concerns, towards our 24-year-old daughter. Sadly, at this point I was prepared to re-home Ruby. 

The first consultation was an introduction where Amanda analysed our family dynamics. She spent time patiently listening and observing, both individually and as a family.

With Amanda's teaching, patience, and valued skills, over time I'm proud to say:

• Ruby displays no aggression towards children, family or friends
• She's the best dog walking in the village with no pulling on lead
• Ruby sits and waits patiently while I chat until I'm ready to move on
• She waits at her bowl for food
• Ruby displays no aggression to other dogs; if other dogs are aggressive, she can stand her ground
• She has perfect recall - can occasionally get distracted by smells but will come back on whistle

I no longer have to sit in the car before coming into the house with a wild dog jumping and out of control. I enter my house knowing we have a well-behaved dog in Ruby. That is thanks to YOU and us for listening to your valued experience. Thank you, Amanda. You have changed everything!
